Get Rich Quick Scheme

You want to get rich, right?

These days are there TONS of websites/gurus telling you that you can make $5,000 in 15 days, or make xx amount in xx amount of days. You get the drift. Although this is possible, it’s VERY rare, and very unrealistic especially for the new comer to the Network Marketing / Internet Marketing business. This gives our industry a very bad name, because people join with unrealistic expectations, they quit the business because they didn’t make the money they had expected and then tell their friends it’s a scam business, etc. Setting unrealistic goals result in complete failure and you will eventually quit.

True Network Marketing Opportunities

A true network marketing opportunity requires a lot of passion, a lot of hard work, and a lot frustration. If someone tells you that they did two things, and overnight they made tons of money – they’re either lying to get you to join, or were EXTREMELY lucky. When you’re in a network marketing business, you have to understand that success doesn’t come overnight, and you will have to work very hard and very consistently to become successful.

In other words, unless you’re VERY VERY VERY lucky. Don’t expect to get rich quickly – expect to work for what you earn, work hard, and you will make it in this business. Have ridiculous expectations such as “getting rich in 15 days” and I can almost guarantee that you will fail.

WORLDVENTURES SCAM EXPOSED!

World Ventures Scam

I get asked all the time if World Ventures is a scam. The truthful answer is NO, it’s not. It’s a legitimate company that offers a great service and opportunity to it’s members/independent reps. People whom have closed minds may think it’s a scam, or previous reps who were unsuccessful in the business. WorldVentures, however, IS a network marketing company, to the uneducated/close minded people – a “pyramid scheme” but I’ve covered that in my other blog post entitled “What is Network Marketing” feel free to read it before you continue here if you have not already.

Pros & Cons of WorldVentures

With all Network Marketing opportunities, there are pros and cons of signing up to each. I’ll go in detail about them.

Pros

  • Endless opportunity to travel.
  • Meet some amazing people around the globe.
  • Be financially fee.
  • Opportunities for company paid for trips, cars, and even homes.
  • Your monthly fees are given back to you at month 12 in “travel dollars”
  • Many company training/social events throughout the year.
  • In 23 countries.
  • You have a fantastic leadership/support team.

This is just a short list of the most sought after pros in an industry, I will now go into the cons.

Cons

  • Can get frustrating after awhile.
  • You need thick skin.
  • You have to be able to handle rejection.
  • You may have to deal with “idiots”
  • Your friends will laugh at you.

Now these are “cons” for ALL network marketing businesses, being a WorldVentures representative myself, I will tell you that you will get rejected a lot, but those are mainly by closed minded people who don’t understand the opportunity like we do. You can teach someone something, but you can’t make them understand it. Network Marketing isn’t for everyone, and that’s good because we want LEADERS, but followers.

I have made an 11 minute video PROVING to you that WorldVentures really works, is NOT a scam, and is worth the money. Take a look at the video below.

Your First 60 Days in Network Marketing

For those of you who don’t know much about Network Marketing, you’re essentially running your own business. You work as an Independent Rep/Distributor of the particular companies product or service. In other words, you’re the boss, you decide when you want to work, when you want to take vacations, and most importantly how much YOU make.

Sounds good, right? Well, the world of Network Marketing isn’t all sunshine and rainbows. It can be a take a toll on someone who isn’t mentally prepared to what they’re getting into. If you’re not ready, I can almost guarantee that you WILL fail. 97% of people who enter Network Marketing, quit because they’ve given up too quickly.

Your First 60 Days

Your first 60 days are the most crucial, as statistics show that after 78 days most people quit – because they haven’t had the success that they want.

Chances are unless you’re very lucky, or have a lot of money and can commit to doing your business full time immediately, you’re not going to make a lot of money in your first 60 days, and truly that’s OK, and it’s NORMAL as legitimate network marketing companies, are NOT a “get-rich-quick-scheme” as most people believe this, and if they don’t see an immediate ROI they quit, which to be honest, I’ve done.

What to do in your first 60 days

  • Personal Development
  • Make a list of your “warm” market
  • Reach out to your warm market
  • Speak with others doing the same thing you are
  • DON’T GIVE UP

Personal Development

Chances are you will need to adjust your mindset a little bit when joining a network marketing company as it’s really different than a “regular 9 to 5 job” so developing yourself as a leader, as a better entrepreneur is very crucial. If you’ve joined a legitimate network marketing company, they will WANT you to succeed, and so will your upline – so utilize the training materials offered by the company, call your upline regularly, or at least have regular contact with them. Go to the live training events, and you will up your chances of being successful.

Make a list of your “warm” market

This one is pretty simple, write down the names of numbers of AT LEAST 20 people you know, and interact with on a regular basis. Whether it be via text message, facebook, twitter.. whatever it is, make this list, and make sure they are people you want to work with as when you bring someone on board, it’s your responsibility to help them grow with the company.

Reach out to your warm market

Call them if you have their number, and don’t go right into pitching your business – have a humanly conversation first ask them about THEM, people don’t care what you say, unless they know that you care about them. If they’re a local person, ask them to meet up for a coffee or beers – and then talk about what you’re doing, and go on the pitch.

Speak with others doing the same thing you are

Find other members who are in the same business you are, or ask the person who referred to put you in the right direction towards others who are in the same boat as you. Talk to them, learn from their experiences, and mistakes.

DON’T GIVE UP

DON’T GIVE UP! Keep working away, do a couple things every day to promote your business to personally develop yourself and make yourself a better business person. I assure you, if you work at it you will be successful, you just have to realize that success doesn’t come overnight – and you will have to put your sweat and blood into this for it to be successful.

Would you rather work like this?

Working your ass off for someone elses dreams.
Boss man yelling

Or would you rather work like this?

Or working your ass off for YOUR dreams
No more boss man yelling

It’s your choice. Choose wisely.

KNOW YOUR WHY!

Before joining any network marketing company, you obviously have a reason why you’re even looking into it, may it be money, freedom, travel.. whatever it may be it’s your reasoning. You’re going to need to have a truly solid WHY before you can be successful in obtaining any sort of success in network marketing. I’ve made a short video on what needs to be done before you join.

THE WHY
